Body Corp Rules
The Body Corporate is made up of all unit owners who must be aged 60 years or over or someone who qualifies for a permanent invalid's benefit. The units will be lived in by their owners and not to be rented or subleased. A register of all unit owners is held by the secretary.
The occupier is allowed to keep a small animal for example a cat or small dog in their unit without getting permission of the body corp.
As well as owning your unit, you are also responsible for managing and maintenance of the common areas. You will repair and maintain your unit and keep in good order to ensure no damage or harm to the common property. The Body Corporate is insured with Rothbury insurance. The total is divided 6 ways, the secretary will deliver the demand to the unit owners each year and unit owners are responsible for the payment of their 6th share. Unit owners are required to comply.
