The grass is long on the property, but the native trees were planted back in October-December 2021 and are just popping out ahead of the grass growth. These are a mixture of manuka, and other mixed native trees. Manuka was planted at a 1000 stems per hectare and the mixed trees were at 150 stems per hectare.
Options here are to revert back to a grazing block, or put the trees into the ETS and start gaining some income while enjoying the hideaway block.
