Located approx a 72 km drive south west of Te Awamutu and a 66 km drive west of Otorohanga. Contour of the 165ha block is approx 20% steep, 60% medium, 20% easy with the 497ha block being 10% steep, 30% medium, and 60% easy. Soil type is maeroa ash over clay. Altitude at the highest point is approx 365 masl. Annual rainfall is between 1,500mm and 2,500mm. Water supply is a mix of natural streams and reticulated with domestic water derived from a spring then gravity fed to the dwellings.
Structural improvements on the 165ha block include a 1 bedroom cottage, cattle yards, a disused wool shed and a hay barn with improvements on the larger block being 2 x 4 bedroom dwellings, 3 stand wool shed, 2 x implement sheds, 4 x hay barns, cattle yards and a fertiliser bin on the air strip.
Currently run as a sheep and beef breeding unit the contour of this property would allow for a more intensive finishing operation.
