Lyz Palmer

Lyz grew up on a sheep and beef farm near Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay, and after attending boarding school in Napier, returned to Wairoa in a position with the Westpac Bank. A stint overseas saw her return to Wairoa to assist in the managing of a busy automotive workshop, service station and Toyota franchise.

Lyz married Nick, a local Hawke’s Bay farmer, and together they have amassed a vast array of agricultural experience including share farming, share milking, equity partnerships and dairy conversions. Their work has taken them and their three children from Wairoa to Central Hawke’s Bay, Bay of Plenty, King Country, Waimate, Mid-Canterbury and to South Canterbury where they have settled on a lifestyle block at St Andrews. Lyz and Nick have a daughter who is managing a sheep and beef farm in the Maniototo and two sons who are local builders. Current grandchild tally is four!

Lyz has completed a Diploma of Agribusiness Management and has spent time working off farm as a vet technician in the Mycoplasma bovis response, as an Artificial Breeding Technician and AB Technician Supervisor for LIC, and in the building trade for a local roofing manufacturer.

Customer satisfaction was critical in all of these roles and is something that Lyz focuses on strongly and strives to achieve with every property sale. Her client and customer feedback scores are consistently 10/10 and the comments have been known to be printed in the PGG Wrightson national publications.
